The GDP Management Team has 45+ years in the building industry from a diversity of roles that brings a wealth of experience to meeting client challenges.
Glenn Porter — Director Dip Mgt
Prior to establishing GDP Property Services, Glenn spent 13 years working within the Lift & BMU Industry. He began as an Electrician’s Apprentice with Johns Perry Lifts in 1986. After some years and some successful acquisitions, Glenn found himself working for Otis Elevators in his final years. In 1999, Glenn founded GDP Property Services
Glenn’s leadership has seen GDP evolve from a specialist BMU maintenance business to a medium sized company offering a range of facilities management services, including window cleaning, height safety and electrical services. Glenn has developed a unique set of skills over this period that further compliments his background as an Electrician.
Having successfully managed the business for ten years, Glenn sought a partner to further assist in growing the business and diversifying its range of services. In early 2010 he welcomed Matt Tisdall as his business partner.
Matt Tisdall — Director BA BB
Completing his Bachelor of Business (Property) in 1995, Matthew started his professional career on Jones Lang LaSalle’s (JLL) graduate program. He spent five years with JLL, before transferring to DTZ’s Head Office in London for 12 months.
Upon his return from the UK, Matt started his own business in development & construction in 2001. As a Registered Commercial Builder, Matthew has completed commercial and industrial building projects for a range of clients including but not limited to Mirvac, Colonial Asset Management and Investa. Additionally, he has completed a range of property developments on industrial, commercial and residential levels. On some developments, he has partnered with organisations such as the Metropolitan Ambulance Service & Yum Restaurants International (KFC) to complete projects.
In early 2010, Matt sought an opportunity to join GDP to assist with continued growth of the company. He brings with him a good understanding of the commercial property industry.
Donna Porter — Managing Director BB CPA
Donna obtained her accounting qualification & enjoyed a successful career with the Chartered Accounting firm Pitcher Partners. In 2003 she saw the opportunity to assist Glenn to further grow GDP.
Her role as General Manager is paramount to the ongoing success and growth of the company. She oversees business operations, manages all aspects of occupational health and safety and sub-contractor management. She also plays a large part in the service delivery to our customers and ensures the business remains customer focused.
